I tutored various subjects in high school, but all of my classroom teaching experience came as a Peace Corps volunteer in Malawi. I taught English (as well as several other subjects) over the course of two years. During the first year I also revised and at times wrote my own curriculum to better fit the students' abilities and needs. |

I recently finished a two-year stint teaching English as a second language to secondary school students in Malawi, Africa. I love teaching, and especially look forward to teaching in an environment with adequate resources and students who are interested in learning.
I chose to apply to teaching jobs in Korea because I have always wanted to spend time in Asia and there appears to be multiple opportunities to continue teaching there. |
