I am extremely interested in the position, TEFL teaching within your school. This opportunity is ideal,
reflecting my current skills and experience. I have strong communication with internal departments,
divisional leaders and Global associates from Europe to Asia pacific. On several occasions, I have lead
classroom based training and also created several online Captivate tutorials to be used within the
classroom environment.
As can be seen from my resume, I lived in Toronto, Canada, whilst working for a Biotechnology company
were I managed the Office and maintained public relations with the academic and research sector. As
it was a small start up sister company of Strategene, based in the US, my duties also included
communicating with the US office and delegate task throughout the office. I completed every task
with diligence and care. I found my work enjoyable and I gained more knowledge and understanding
with every responsibility I was given. I also found living and working in a foreign country extremely
interesting and enlightening.
On returning from Toronto in August 2003, I was employed by Mitel Networks, Motherwell, prior to
starting my MSc Business Information Technology Systems course at Strathclyde University. In this
role, I completed a month’s schedule of upgrades on laptops and desktops within the Glasgow City
council area, running diagnostics and performing software upgrades on systems used by Primary
school head teachers. This was an ideal opportunity to employ my extensive skills and abilities, to
train users and generate technical notes from training experience; this assisted my development of
both technical and interpersonal skills.
