Extensive experience in the field of ESL instruction. Beginning as an English teacher at a language institute in 1998, I moved on to university instruction in 2001 and continued to teach at that level until the summer of 2006 when I returned to Canada to complete graduate studies. I was promoted at each location at which I worked, and developed curricula, and testing and evaluation materials. Further, I worked with a Korean professor at Chonan University (now called Baekseok University) on a report that was published in TESL Quarterly. I also managed approximately 20 instructors as the Head Teacher for the Advanced and Elective English Program at Kangnam University. Additionally, I assisted both English and Korean instructors in developing effective teaching methods. I also taught Business English courses to senior members of Green Cross and Samsung Electronics.  Finally, I am currently employed by Kyungpook National University as an assistant professor with the Teacher¡¯s College (Department of English Education).  I also have relevant experience in a variety of fields, including that of a policy advisor with the Heritage Division of the Nova Scotia Department of Tourism, Culture and Heritage. As a policy advisor, my work required great accuracy as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and problem solve within strict deadlines.
