I am looking for a daytime position in Busan.
Ä¿¹ö·¹ÅÍ/À̷¼ Dear Hiring Manager,

I am a qualified candidate for teaching English as a Second Language in Korea.  I have a Masters Degree in Teaching, with New York State certification.  I have taught ESL for one year in the United States.  Throughout my life I have traveled often and I adapt well to new settings; part of the reason for this is because culture is a passion of mine, I have a bachelor's degree in Anthropology.  Most importantly, I enjoy being around children and spending time with them.  I am really looking forward to coming to teach English in Korea in October 2008.
In May, I graduated with a Masters Degree in Childhood Education at Plattsburgh State University in New York.  This program took two years to complete and involved many classes that are important to teaching.  Some of the courses were: Behavior Management, Child Psychology, Teaching Reading, and Developing Curriculum, besides many others.  There was also 16 weeks of student teaching, when I was inside classrooms teaching the students.  This experience took place in a 2nd grade, and a combined 4th & 5th grade.
From January 2007 to January 2008 I was a one on one English instructor and aid to a student from the Dominican Republic.  He did not speak English when he came to New York, and I taught him how to succeed in an American school.  This was a challenging but rewarding experience.  I used many different techniques and strategies to teach the student English.  When I left, he was one of the top students in his class and on the honor roll.
Since graduating from high school, travel has always been a strong part of my life.  My travels include almost all of the 50 United States, Canada and Mexico.  I lived in South America for five months with a Chilean family where I attended University and learned how to speak Spanish.  I also traveled to North Africa through a program at my college.  All of these different experiences showed me the richness of the world's cultures, and helped me to earn a degree in Anthropology in 2004.
My qualifications would make me a great candidate for a position in your school.  My education, job experience and travels have all led me to teach English as a Second Language in Korea.  I hope that we can speak soon.

Best Regards,

Aaron Falzerano
