Dear Sir or Madam,
I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota and while studying there I developed a variety of skills that I think would make me an excellent candidate for a teaching position in Seoul, South Korea.
While attending college, I worked hard to develop critical thinking skills which will be very helpful when teaching young children. This is an important trait to possess because it will allow me to take abstract ideas and communicate them effectively in ways that are understandable. It will also augment my ability to assess classroom progress and repackage concepts that the students may have difficulty understanding to ensure that the students are receiving the best education possible. I also have considerable professional experience working in the private sector. The various jobs that I have had instilled me with excellent communication skills, both with customers and with coworkers, which I will be able to transfer to the classroom to express myself concisely. It will also make it easier for me to foster relationships with the people who I am teaching with and my superiors.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Best regards,
Joel Kinder
