To whom it may concern,
In April 2008, I completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education from the University of Western Ontario. In January 2009, I completed my Associate Diploma in Piano Performance, from the Royal Conservatory of Music. In April 2009 I graduated from the University of Western Ontario Faculty of Education with a specialization in music and English education. I am now looking for new experiences and am very interested in teaching in Korea.
I feel I have many skills to offer a school in Korea. First is my reason for becoming an educator. I am a teacher because I am passionate about working with children. It is this passion for youth and their education that fuel my vigor and enthusiasm. I wish to use the skills that I have learned through my experiences working with large groups of diverse students to teach English in Korea. I am looking to work in a school that can best use my energies and creativity. I teach in an enthusiastic manner which I convey in the classroom and in my role as a professional. I am energetic and work effectively to contribute to both curricular and extracurricular activities.
My employment and volunteer work as both an English and music teacher have given me many valuable skills. I work effectively and I am very well organized and efficient. I have taught in many schools in London, Ontario and from that have gained a confidence and comfort standing in front of a classroom of students of any age. Teaching has also given me effective communication and public relation skills through the many public presentations I have given. I have a variety of other varied work experiences but assure you that I accomplish every task given to me with passion and commitment.
I am looking forward to establishing myself within a school in Korea. I feel that these skills make me a strong candidate to consider for employment and I would be a valuable employee. Thank you in advance for your consideration of my application.
Sincerely,
Laura Stinson
