I have 2 and a half years experience teaching English as a second language in South Korea. Since gaining this experience, I operate with professionalism and efficiency both inside and outside of the classroom. I have had great working relationships with my past co-workers and students. I have always had a passion for teaching and enjoy seeing the difference education can make in peoples´ lives.
I have worked predominantly at an English language academy that caters to elementary school children ranging in ages from 7 – 13 years of age. If have experience teaching skill levels from phonics and pre-beginner students right up to advanced, elite and debating levels. I have also taught conversation classes to adults in the past, and also to Korean teachers teaching English. My experience includes also one on one tutorials for high school students preparing for TESOL speaking examinations.
Prior to teaching, I worked for New Zealand’s national airline for 7 years. I have sound computer knowledge and am highly organized. I am a hard worker with the desire to achieve all tasks with efficiency.
