To whom it may concern,
I wish to apply for the ‘Private English Academy’ position that was advertised on your website. I consider myself a suitable candidate for this job as I meet the specified job requirements and look forward to the challenge of working in Korea.
I am originally from Korea but I have lived in New Zealand for 10 years and completed both secondary and tertiary education in New Zealand.
I graduated from the University of OTAGO last year and hold a Bachelor's degree in Dental Technology and an NZQA Certificate in TESOL. I am a very supportive and active person who works in a cooperative manner and is always willing to learn.
I am also very keen to work hard in a team environment with respect and sincerity.
I have taught both primary and intermediate school students in ‘INHA University English Winter Camp 08’. This opportunity made me continue to develop my teaching skills. Currently, I have an NZQA Certificate in TESOL with Teaching Practice classes comprising four hours of real and observed teaching.
I believe my background and enthusiasm for teaching young learners will help me to become a good teacher who strives to meet the needs of all students.
My goal is to continue to develop my teaching skills while creating a safe, comfortable, challenging and fun learning environment for all students.
