May 16, 2009
Dear Sirs:
I am responding to your email to my address. My resume shows that I have more than seven years teaching experience; five years instructing and writing managerial and technical courses, and two years post CELTA. I have lived and worked in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia during a career that includes twenty-one years of international work.
Since January 2009, I have been working in Mokpo, South Korea at Jungchul Language School teaching young learners from kindergarten through the sixth grade. My current E-2 visa expires on January 10, 2010. Unfortunately, this new school has experienced financial difficulties and closes May 31st; for that reason I am looking for a new position.
I am seeking a public school position with a salary range of W2.3 million upwards, with a minimum of 20 paid work days vacation annually. The position should require no more than 22 teaching hours per week. I am married and need at least a one-bedroom apartment; not a studio. I need school-provided housing; not a housing allowance. Please do not offer me private school positions.
I am available for immediate assignment. Enclosed are my CV and a summary of my biographical data.
Sincerely,
Dennis Melton
