I have received a bachelor뭩 degree in Liberal Studies and a minor in Natural Sciences from Cal State University of Fullerton. I will be sent a diploma in a few months. My next step in my educational career is to enter the Teacher Credential Program. I have been accepted to attend the program; however, I would like to spend a year in Korea teaching students.
I am currently tutoring three students for $30 an hour. They consist of an 8th grade boy, a 7th grade girl, and a 1st grade boy. I am also currently serving as a 4th grade Bible Study teacher in my local church. In my undergraduate classes, I was required to spend many hours in elementary school classrooms for my observations and fieldwork. I have also spent the summer of 2007 in S. Korea teaching English to elementary school students. |

Dear ESL Agent of Korea,
Ihave received an email from your agency that listed numerous job options. I would like to apply for a teaching position in Korea. It would be an incredible opportunity for me to teach students to their fullest potential. A job in Korea would be the perfect experience for my future in teaching elementary school students in California. I not only want to grow as a person, but I also want to leave this program with new knowledge and skills for teaching.
I would like to start working on August 1, but can be flexible in working earlier. My desired group that I would like to teach would be elementary school students because of my future with this academic level, but am willing to teach kindergarteners and high schoolers. My desired teaching location would be in Seoul. I can be flexible with this preference also.
I would very much like to arrange an interview as soon as possible.
