I am writing to inquire about two teaching positions listed on the WorknPlay job board, specifically one which is located in Yeongdeungpo-gu starting August 4th, and one located in Mokdong also beginning in August. My interest in teaching in South Korea stems from an admiration for its high standard of education and the importance placed on English education. I am currently working in Seoul with an F4 visa. I have requested the documents that would qualify me for an E2 visa as well, and I expect them to be ready shortly.

I spent much of my undergraduate career teaching both language and the language arts. As such, I can provide a well-rounded language learning experience, effectively instructing not only the technical aspects of English, but the creative and communicative ones as well. Additionally, at my current job as a researcher at the English Speaking Proficiency Test (ESPT), I have learned to assess English ability among Korean test takers. These skills are highly transferable as a teacher, as I can quickly identify language mistakes common among this demographic.

I love teaching and gain personal fulfillment from seeing students improve, and I am excited at the prospect of working with motivated Korean children. As you may note in my CV, I am not a dabbler; I place importance on always improving my abilities, especially as a teacher. I can promise to put forth a great amount of skill, effort, and caring into my job. Finally, I look forward to working with other teachers and contributing to a supportive work environment.
