To Whom It May Concern,
Hello, my name is Jodie Shepherd and I am looking for a job in South Korea teaching English as a Foreign Language. I have graduated from the University of Lincoln with a bachelor’s degree in Media Technology, and I also hold a TEFL certificate, a 120-hours combined practical and online course with assignments and lesson plans. I have volunteered in a local primary school as a teaching assistant, helping children with their phonics, reading, writing, observation, mathematics, I.T and games.
I am ready to start a.s.a.p. , I have all my E2 visa documents prepared and in hand ready to send as soon as I am offered a contract.
As a teacher I would show great enthusiasm towards the job, I will always give 100%, I have a lot of energy and patience. My goal is to get my students speaking English in a way that they enjoy it, have fun and are interested and want to be in class. I aim to get the best out of all my students.
One of my interests is travelling; I have travelled around Europe and the USA over the last couple of years. What makes me want to teach in South Korea is the chance to continue my travels, while experiencing such a great country and getting to live among an exciting culture with the opportunity to meet like-minded people and enjoy my time there.
I really think the role as an ESL Teacher is such a rewarding career and really hope I can make a difference.
