Dear Sir or Madam:
I am a dynamic, well presented, traveled and articulate woman passionate about life and learning. My objective is to obtain a role which will allow me to innovatively use my skills to empower and enrich the lives of people.
Over the past eight years, I commenced studying Advanced Life Science (Hons) with a major in molecular genetics at the University of New South Wales. Soon after, I changed my degree to a double major in psychology and education which I completed early 2007. In the interim, I have worked in various fields including education, management and temp roles.
As an individual I have always been active. In boarding school, I played five sports, started a school newspaper, was the general manager for a Youth Achievers Australia business initiative, received school colours and represented the school at the National Youth Science Forum, Central QLD Constitutional Convention and as a featured artist in a public exhibition. During this time, I additionally served as the President for the Rockhampton Youth Forum, which organised a successful large musical event that had a turn out of 5000 people.
In university I followed suite; I worked my way up through the various offices of esteemed clubs, taught for an educational outreach project organised by the Astrophysics Department, became involved as an active co-ordinator for charity events, volunteered with Australian International Volunteers in Costa Rica for three months and continuously worked to support myself.
Since university, I have continued to strive for an active lifestyle balance, which facilitates my physical, mental, social and spiritual growth and development. I believe that a teaching role in Korea will provide me with the opportunity to continue doing so.
Attached is my resume. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely
Kylie Rivero-Glover
