To whom it may concern,
I am writing to you in regards to your current EFL Teaching vacancy as featured on eslagent.net.
Presently I am working as a Pre-school teacher in Wuxi, China. Before entering this position my experience extended only to teaching in Junior and Middle Schools (TEFL). However I had no trouble whatsoever adapting to the different environment and age group that was presented to me. I have really enjoyed working with younger children, as they are fantastically enthusiastic and make everyday in the classroom a pleasure.
Although my main Discipline is not Education, I feel I have strong capabilities as a Teacher and am able to work successfully as part of a team or unassisted. My teaching style is quite active and I really love presenting the students with activities that will get them involved. I believe with EFL teaching you need to be constantly trying to inspire and encourage the children’s interest not only in the class, but also in the language. I have very strong oral and written communication skills and I am comfortable dealing with students in large groups or one on one.
I have two very successful years teaching experience on my side, and feel that I would be very well suited to the position you have on offer. I have never been to Korea, but would be very excited to experience the culture there and furthermore the challenge of teaching in a new environment.
