I have worked as a tour guide in Glacier National Park
and led student groups to Germany, Russia, Italy and
Greece.  I have sponsored several JCL clubs for Latin
students.  I have coached basketball and volleyball.
My experience includes work for Upward Bound at Hiwassee
College, TN, to assist underprivileged students
seeking to enter college.

My teaching philsophy can be crystallized into three
words:  lege libros bonos, i.e., Read good books!  Great
literature inspires us to learn and to think about our
world in new and creative ways!
