Before I left Ireland, I worked as a manager of a leading retail group in the country-Garvey Group Ltd.
My role as a manager brought with it many duties, including determining objectives, planning monthly actions, organizing promotions, controlling and communicating with 65 staff members as well as customers.
My time there also allowed me to obtain a FETAC(Further Education and Training Awards Council) certificate in business management.
Prior to this I spent 4 years in college obtaining a degree in business and marketing and a certificate in business and computers.
I have spent the last 3 years in many countries but now I see Korea as my permanent home.
In preparation for my career I have in my possession all related documents(educational, criminal record etc.) needed to acquire the E-2 teaching visa. All I need is for my degree to be verified by the Korean Council for University Education. This way I will not require an interview at the Korean Embassy in my home country.
Though I have no teaching experience, I believe my educational and employment background, as well as my interaction with many Korean people will help me become a successful English teacher with your highly regarded company.
