I am hoping to find a full time English teaching contract. I am well qualified and willing to teach students at any level and at any age. If you have a position available, please contact me.
Currently working towards TEFL certification, I have experience teaching English grammar, reading, conversation and vocabulary to children from the ages of 7 to 15 in Taiwan. In this role, I was able to develop strong teaching, leadership, organisational, communication, class management and time management skills. I also have experience substitute tutoring children in grades K2 to P6 in Hong Kong. In this role, I checked and corrected the children’s homework, and helped them prepare for dictation and exams. I could apply my skills and knowledge to this position in your learning centre.
Teaching is an exciting career opportunity for me. I was born and raised in Toronto, ON, Canada, and graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Science. My education and diverse employment background have prepared me with the skills and flexibility to teach English overseas. I adapt easily and am open to new challenges and opportunities. I have a positive outlook, and am enthusiastic about teaching.
