I am extremely interested in a career position as an English teacher and have enclosed a resume for your review. My education experience includes:
* English as a Second Language Instructor. - prepare and teach Math, Social Studies, Science, Reading, and Writing lessons in English to children from ages 2 to 7 years old. Prepare and execute English language seasonal programs. Cooperate with the Chinese classroom teachers and with an English/Chinese speaking co-worker.
* English as a Second Language Secretary. – communicate by phone, make copies, help students with problems in English, ran errands, befriend the students.
* Substitute teacher in Senior High School. - execute assigned work for students prepared by classroom teacher. If no preparation, was to come up with something. I dealt souly with discipline of the students. Acted as the full time teacher while teacher was absent.
* Teacher's Assistant in Summer School. - Worke in Summer School helping teachers make copies, help students when needed, and grade papers.
I, in 2006, with acceptance into Murray State University’s Dean’s List, the National Dean’s List, and National Honor’s Society, have taken and passed the CPR and First Aid class at Murray State University. I have also taken and passed all required courses to become a certified teacher of the State of Kentucky in the United States of America, but unfortunately haven't taken the tests at this time.
I am very interested in a career position as an English teacher and believe that my strong education experience, personal skills and international background skills would allow me to contribute greatly to the needs of the school I'm hired at. I am energetic and enjoy working with students. I also consider myself to be responsible, sensitive to the needs of others, friendly, and dependable, and patient. I am looking for a position in a large city with the pay range of 2.3M to 2.8M KRW per month with E2 VISA and NO weekend work. Afternoon and evening work is ok for me. My preferred age group would be elementary to high school, if possible. Kindergarten isn't a stronge area for me. I am able to arrive in Korea by April or May, but if not necessary I will arrive in May and be ready to work when I arrive.
