Dear ESL Agent Administration and Staff,
Please review my documents in consideration of me as a candidate for one of the positions for which I am available. As you will no doubt find in my enclosed information, I have extensive experience as an ESL educator both in South Korea and in the People's Republic of China. Prior to working as a teacher overseas, I was employed as a AA level high school Forensics (public speaking and debate) coach at my alma mater.
Although I enjoyed my years working in central China, I am eager to return to the ROK. I am most interested in teaching in Ilsan, as that is the area with which I am most familiar and where I have many close friends, some of whom are former students, or are business men and women I met while living in Ilsan.
At both my former schools, in Korea and in China, I maintained excellent relationships with owners, administrators, colleagues, students, parents, and area merchants and my neighbors. If I am not able to return to my former language institute in Ilsan, I sincerely hope that you will be able to assist me in finding a suitable position.
My employers at NDI in Wuhan and HOLI in Ilsan handled all of the paperwork necessary for my work visas and visa renewals during my years in Korea and China because of my ability, experience and performance and despite my current lack of a formal certificate or degree. I am considering the option of pursuing ESL certification on my own or, if possible, through a school where I can earn the certification and/or degree while I make a living.
Contact me with any questions or if you require further information from me.
Regards,
Joshua Speer |
