Dear Recruitment Officer
I recently found your listing for teaching positions on the internet and I am very interested in teaching English in Korea.
My background in brief, I recently completed seven years at the University of Auckland. This time consisted of four and a half years to complete a conjoint degree in Fine Arts and Psychology, followed by another two years doing my MFA (Masters in Fine Arts, Graduated 2007).
Furthermore, I have my ESOL Home Tutoring Certificate and have enjoyed tutoring English in my community for sometime. Also, living in my home, over the last nine years, I have hosted two International students at any one time, girls or boys, who have come from all parts of the world for the purpose of studying English. Hence, I tutor them also, and as a result, they consistently top their class in their respective Language Schools.
In addition;
I have a genuine respect for all people wanting to learn and a commitment to helping them achieve. Also, I have a natural flair and passion for teaching English and researching new and interesting methodology to this end.
As a native speaker of English, I am confident, patient, kind, and have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Furthermore, I have a natural flair for teaching children and a happy cheerful disposition.
I am innovative and creative in my approach, resourceful, and interested in assisting students to learn and succeed. I enjoy teaching children of all ages.
I am, by nature, flexible, adaptive, respectful and comfortable with conformity. Indeed, I believe teaching is an action of mutual respect that facilitates an exchange where learning takes place for all participants.
I am mature, under 55yrs old, fit, youthful and have absolutely no medical conditions. Indeed, New Zealand takes pride in its clean & philosophy.
